Operation White Noise es un documento de inteligencia ficticio, elaborado como artefacto de futuros: un objeto que pertenece al año 2029 pero que existe hoy, en 2026, para ser leído antes de que exista la posibilidad de lo que describe.

Este proyecto imagina lo que ocurrió en 2025, cuando el presidente de EE.UU. Donald Trump, encarga a un grupo especial de la CIA un informe para preparar la invasión de Groenlandia. Ese grupo de la CIA, en desacuerdo con la misión, decidió sabotearla desde dentro: construyeron un informe completamente falso — geografías imposibles pertenecientes a la Luna, datos contradictorios, culturas inventadas, proyecciones inmobiliarias absurdas,… — todo ello diseñado para que cualquier operación basada en él fracasara inevitablemente y que Trump, nunca consiguiera la absurda idea de invadir Groenlandia. En su plan rebelde, ese grupo interno incluso usa la IA china –DeepSeek–, para desarrollar textos absurdos, kafkianos y falsos, garantizando el caos con la ayuda involuntaria de China, el enemigo geopolítico de Trump.

Este artefacto de futuros, se encuadra como gesto artístico y político contemporáneo. Se enfoca en la desinformación como acto de resistencia y no como herramienta de control hacia la sociedad. Se enfoca en el pensamiento crítico hacia la tecnología, que puede alucinar, produciendo textos e imágenes convincentes sobre realidades que no existen. Se enfoca en los mundos que podemos heredar mañana, que tienen la forma exacta de lo que elegimos no ver hoy. Porque lo que no miramos no desaparece. Solo se vuelve más vulnerable.

El proyecto consta de un informe y una instalación expositiva recreando el cuartel general del grupo disidente de la CIA.

Operation White Noise is a fictional intelligence document, created as a futures artefact: an object that belongs to the year 2029 but exists today, in 2026, to be read before the possibility of what it describes comes to pass.

This project imagines what happened in 2025, when US President Donald Trump commissioned a special CIA group to prepare a report for the invasion of Greenland. That CIA group, disagreeing with the mission, decided to sabotage it from within: they constructed a completely false report — impossible geographies belonging to the Moon, contradictory data, invented cultures, absurd real estate projections, etc. — all designed to ensure that any operation based on it would inevitably fail and that Trump would never achieve his absurd idea of invading Greenland. In their rebellious plan, this internal group even uses Chinese AI — DeepSeek — to develop absurd, Kafkaesque and false texts, guaranteeing chaos with the unwitting help of China, Trump's geopolitical enemy.

This artefact of the futures is framed as a contemporary artistic and political gesture. It focuses on disinformation as an act of resistance rather than a tool of control over society. It focuses on critical thinking towards technology, which can hallucinate, producing convincing texts and images about realities that do not exist. It focuses on the worlds we may inherit tomorrow, which take the exact form of what we choose not to see today. Because what we do not look at does not disappear. It only becomes more vulnerable.

The project consists of a report and an exhibition installation recreating the headquarters of the dissident group within the CIA.
