El proyecto Magical Delta, es mi forma de mostrar y proteger un lugar mágico del Mediterráneo: el Delta. No es un Delta más y, a la vez, representa a todos los Deltas que están sufriendo un deterioro severo y acelerado por el cambio climático.
Este proyecto representa mi mirada al devenir de civilizaciones milenarias, a la biosfera, la economía, la cultura... Y sobretodo a (re)conocer la magia del Delta. En este ecosistema nada es lo que parece y todo se mezcla: espacio y tiempo, cielo y tierra, vida y muerte, dulce y salado... Todo se desdibuja en horizontes ambivalentes.
La película analógica junto a mi mirada neurodivergente, generan lugares indetectables para los sistemas de geolocalización, salvando a este lugar mágico del turismo descontrolado.
No hay metadatos en el negativo de la película fotográfica. No hay geolocalización posible en la mirada de alguien que ve y representa el paisaje de manera diferente a lo normativo.
Esta es mi manera de protegerlo. Lo que yo fotografío del Delta es real y es magia irreconocible para los algoritmos. No por accidente, sino porque así es como yo veo. Mi forma de ver, es mi propio sistema de protección para el futuro del Mediterráneo.

The Magical Delta project is my way of showcasing and protecting a magical place in the Mediterranean: the Ebro Delta. It is not just another Delta, yet it represents all the Deltas that are suffering severe and accelerating deterioration due to climate change.
This project represents my perspective on the evolution of ancient civilisations, the biosphere, the economy, culture… And above all, on (re)discovering the magic of the Delta. In this ecosystem, nothing is as it seems and everything blends together: space and time, sky and earth, life and death, sweet and salty… Everything blurs into ambivalent horizons.
Analogue film, combined with my neurodivergent perspective, creates locations undetectable to geolocation systems, saving this magical place from uncontrolled tourism.
There is no metadata on the photographic film negative. No geolocation is possible in the gaze of someone who sees and depicts the landscape in a way that differs from the norm.
This is my way of protecting it. What I photograph of the Delta is real and is magic unrecognisable to algorithms. Not by accident, but because that is how I see it. My way of seeing is my own system of protection for the future of the Mediterranean.
